Today I read a very good article from the Delaware State News I thought you'd like.
Dwayne Thomas was coaching at Tenessee State back in 2002 when he was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Starting chemo, he never missed a practice, stating "When you take those treatments, you are down. Psychologically, I didn't want to give in to the disease."
While not everyone can continue to work during treatment, it is especially uplifting to stand behind those that make the decision to continue life as normal as possible, feeling like they won't let lymphoma gain the upper hand.
