Canadian Wrestler Piper Diagnosed with Lymphoma
Legendary Canadian WWE wrestler 'Rowdy' Roddy Piper has been diagnosed with lymphoma and will begin treatment to fight the disease immediately. The 52-year-old, who starred in director John Carpenter's 1988 movie They Live, posted a statement on his website November 27th confirming that doctors found a cancerous tumour on a disc in his spine.
Piper writes: "It seems like I have been fighting someone, something, someplace, in some manner, my whole life. But this fight is one I am gonna win!"
